Made an order with HMV for a box set at 9.99, went through okay, got an email from them - account set up email. But failied to note down the order number from the screen.

Logged in a couple of days later to check my order and no sign of it. Contacted HMV and they say I didn't make the order.

I did make the order near or around midnight, so whether the offer ended while my order was processing I don't know.

Checked the item again and the price had gone up £35, anyway today its now back down to £15 so I'm only paying a fiver more than I would have if they hadn't lost my original order. Not bad I guess, just all a bit of a pain.

Will keep my eye on my credit card and make sure they don't charge for both...

The problem with HMV(online, anyway) is that they're complete muppets.

If you actually get your order (I've heard some people have this occasionally) it's fine, but I haven't had a single order from them like that (at least not since they got serious about being online - I had a couple of pleasant dealings with them on vinyl back in the day).

At least with play 99% of things turn up - although they're not as fast as they used to be.

not bad for 17", can anyone tell me if when it says integrated TV tuner, does that mean it's got freeview?

Also, this samsung 42" Plasma seems a very good price, can anyone tell me if its any good.

The spec mentions Nicam which is for stereo audio for analogue, terrestrial TV so I guess it doesn't have Freeview. If it did then I am sure Play would be shouting about it and there would be mention of Freeview or DVB-T.
