Mortgage credit check help

Hello everyone, can someone help me please.
I have applied for a mortgage and been given an AIP.
My credit rating is good, i have had a few credit accounts over the last 7 years and have kept them all well and up to date, also i have a few running at the moment, and both credit records with both experian and equifax look good.
My problem is that back in 1997 i got into a small bit of debt and mananged to get myself out of it, i paid off it all, so i thought around 10 years ago.
But although my credit records are very good, there are 3 searches done, the last one just a few months over a year ago within a 3 month period on my equifax file by a debt collecting company called MacKenzie Hall, these are hard searches and besides the searches where it usually says loan, credit card, etc, it states `outstanding debt`. I have none of this on my credit record and thought i was clear of that all those years ago, will this mess up my chances of getting a mortgage once i get to the full application?
I have to say again that my account on my credit record are in top order and there is no bad debt showing.
these searches are on Table 1 of the searches entries, and not Table 2 which is why i believe them to be hard searches.

This is unusual, although I do not think it will affect your application.
It may be worth getting in contact with this company and setting them straight, although you are likely to get more skilled advice on debt free wannabe sub forum as they deal with these day to day.
From a mortgage perspective I do think you will be ok, just do not want them constantly doing this just in case..
