Jacobs Bailiffs

Hi everyone I'm after some advice if possible?
I made the mistake of letting a bailiff for Jacobs into my property and have a walking possession order with them. I've fallen behind with the payments and if I'm honest I've buried my head in the sand hoping it will go away. Obviously it won't I know that.
I had a letter posted through my door today stating that full payment had to be made in 48 hours or they would re-attend my property and may remove goods even in my absence.
I called the number on the letter and was told that someone would be attending on Thursday afternoon (2nd August). He couldn't tell me what would happen only that goods MAY be taken.
I know this is my fault - i defaulted on the payments and I do owe the money (Council tax).
I don't have the money to pay! I'm claiming jobseekers allowance and struggle as it is. I don't want pity, I just need some advice if anyone can help?
Thank you

Hi KirstT
can you tell us exactly what goods he has listed on the walking possession agreement
can you tell us the amount of the liability order and the fees the bailiff has chargedI am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites
If you are in any doubt please seek legal/expert advice help0 -
Thank you!
He listed my tv, freeview box, dvd player, 2 leather sofas and 2 wooden display units.
The amount on the document is Outstanding £675-40, levy & walking possession £45 + £12, other fees £24.50. I've been making payments and the amount on the letter left today is for £335.000 -
Sorry. I know I've just joined but does anyone have any advice? To say that I'm scared would be an understatement.0
