TANGOMOTION
“...a brilliant fusion of classical, tango, jazz and roots” – The Guardian
From virtuoso displays of traditional tango dance to the exquisite sounds of 1930s Buenos Aires and the powerful Nuevo Tango music of Astor Piazzolla, TangoMotion is a breathtaking journey into the heart of Tango Argentino. TangoMotion features four of the world’s leading tango dancers, plus live music from acclaimed band Tango Siempre and the outstanding Argentinian singer Guillermo Rozenthuler. The TangoMotion musicians and dancers have previously appeared in the hit West End show Midnight Tango (with Strictly stars Vincent and Flavia), the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Tango Por Dos, the Channel 4 film Dance and Madonna’s film Evita.

A newly appointed leader guided by religious conviction.
A threat to peace.
A questionable case for war.
Does nothing ever change?
This production is a critical response to, and examination of the second Iraq war, following the recent Iraq Inquiry - set in a world of the 24-hour news cycle, political spin, prisoner abuse and UN Resolutions.
In this Jubilee and Olympic year, join us for a radical new production of one of Shakespeare's most celebrated plays - a play synonymous with English patriotism. But at what cost?
Directed by Henry Filloux-Bennett.

Pirates is back!
Following sell-out shows on tour and at Wiltons Music Hall, this all male production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s most popular and successful classic operettas comes to the Empire. Fast and funny and packed with satirical wit and musical excellence.
The Pirates of Penzance was an immediate triumph for Gilbert and Sullivan and is still one of their most popular and successful works today. The two men constantly updated the piece with satirical, political and social references; and Sasha Regan’s extraordinary production adds another delicious twist to this musical classic – continuing the tradition of Gilbert and Sullivan as contemporary theatre.
This exquisitely funny take on a much-loved classic was a huge critical and popular hit during its first London run, and is a must-see for all musical theatre fans!

Soap Opera
Starring Leslie Grantham (EastEnders), Graham Cole (The Bill), Louis Emerick (Brookside), Michelle Gayle (EastEnders), Hattie Hayridge (Red Dwarf) and Lee Otway (Hollyoaks) with Kev Orkian, Robert Pearce and Laura Jane Matthewson.
Hollyenders Street has been on air for fifteen years, and viewing figures are the worst they've ever been. So a new, hard nosed producer is brought in to mix things up and save the show. Characters are cut, stories are sexed up and new blood is brought in. Even the theme tune is re-written. Before long, the cast are at war, the writers are on strike and everyone ends up unhappy. And then, somebody snaps. Blood is spilled and a body is discovered. The detective in charge of the investigation, who is a life-long fan of the show, arrives to solve the case. Will the show be saved? Will the murderer be found? Will Detective Emmerside get a full set of autographs? The answer to all these questions and more is…probably.
