Hi
My mortgage is with Direct Line but has been managed by RBS Credit Management for a while as we fell behind. We sorted this out eventually and RBS said that after 6 consecutive dd payments the account would go back to "normal status" and be returned to Direct Line to be managed as normal.
Our payments usually go out on 28th of each month but last month we were a bit short. However, my bank did not show an attempted direct debit on the 28th (as they normally would) and instead the payment went out on 5th of the following month). I assumed it was because of our lack of funds but this month despite having the funds they have not taken the payment and I wonder if theu will take it on the 5th again.
I do need to phone them but I wondered if anyone else had a similar issue with a Direct Line/RBS mortgage? Is it likely to have anything to do with the IT problems they had?
Thanks
