loan4u or NOT

I appied to loans4u they said they had found a lender so took fee. Said lender refused loan, meanwhile my details were sent to 13 other brokers claiming £3.25 - £69.99 for organising this non existent loan. the total requests for fees came to £772.54 for a £500 loan request. result my bank account is frozen, i have no money, I can't pay my rent, i have to contact all these loan companies to try and get my money back! Everyone wants money i dont have because I tried to take out a short term loan. HELP

Have you written to the first broker to ask for a refund of the fee charged in accordance with their T&Cs?

Do the T&Cs of the first broker state that they may pass your details on to other loan brokers?

Have you written to the secondary brokers to request refund of the broker fees?

Given the extent of the broker fees I would consider opening a new clean bank account to have your future wages/income paid into.

Can you contact your landlord and explain the situation and ask if they will allow you to pay your rent slightly late when you next receive income?

You really need to look at your finances if you were after a small loan. Dont use a broker for a loan full stop. when the word fee is mentioned or if they want your account details then alarm bells should be ringing to tell you to stop.

Didn't the silly text speak name ring alarm bells?
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

And trhow your mobile away, now it has been compromised (shared out) you will never hear the end of it.

And get a new email adress for the same reasons.

They have all seen how easy it is to get money out of you, you will find yourself at the top of the list.
Have the Indians been in touch offeirng you a loan as long as you make the first payment?... they will be.

Cant belive the OP shelled out £772.54 to chase a loan thats too far away from them to make it achieveable.

I suspect for that figure the Indians have already been in touch (David Smith or a relative)

You would have thought the OP would be concerned on 2 fronts, 1 is that he is throwing his own money after a loan and 2 is that he wasnt keeping a check on how much he was throwing at the search for a loan.

OP, can i just ask what wa sthe £500 for ?

Why did you not use £500 of the £772.54 for whatever you needed it for ?

OP did you give out your bank details to all the companies, or did the original broker pass around your details and everyone has been taking their share?

I think the OP is telling huge porkies. Nobody is quite that stupid.

Troll thread. But there are many similar non-troll threads where naive and stupid people have lost on average £69.99 on the promise of eternal riches in paradise (Or a non-existent loan they couldn't have afforded anyway)
