My boyfriend will be enjoying two wooden armchairs in his garden on his birthday:T
  • Apologies if this has been posted already but, thanks to a heads up from someone, I have today bought two charcoal smoker BBQs at Wilkinsons for £7.50 each - original price £30 - and they are excellent for the money.

They are the square, lidded sort on legs and are made from fairly thick metal so should last a while.

The charcoal is also 75% off but I forgot to buy some so will have to go back later........

With the promise of a sunny September or even in readiness for next summer I thought I would let folk know.

is this onstore only do you know please?
  • I've bought three BBQs for about £1.50 each! Couldn't resist at the price, they are cheaper than disposables. Also picked up a bag of charcoal for just over £1 and I'll be going back tomorrow for more.

All the picnic stuff is also 75% off, though still labelled at 50% off. I bought a set of child's melamine cutlery for my son's packed lunches for about 25p.

I think it is only instore - the shops are getting rid of the summer stuff.

Availability will vary from store to store as the littler Uttoxeter store still has some 75% off summer stuff whilst the bigger Burton store has already cleared out and got Hallowe'en/Christmas stuff in!!!

Maybe worth ringing to find out before making a special trip - I have always found Wilkos happy to put stuuf to one side if you ask.

    Just so.
My Wilkinsons have nothing left in the BBQ stuff.
Very disappointed as the forcast for the weekend is hot, dry and sunny - perfect BBQ weather.

Sorry to be a miserable old bag, but it does annoy the hell out of me when the stores decide to change the seasons - whether the customer wants to or not.
August they start selling Christmas cards and next years calendars.
January they sell Easter eggs and bikinis.
If you have not got your summer clothes by June, forget it as the shops start with jumpers and boots.
Try getting winter clothes for babies and children in January when there is 6 inches of snow and 3 more months of bad weather..... all the stores are full of summer dresses and sandals.

    Sorry, rant over.....;)
