Will Natwest issue a warrant of arrest?

Good day!
I worked in the Uk for 5 years. Whilst on holiday back home (South africa) we had a family crisis and I had to use my credit card to pay for some medical treatments.(about 1000.00) A week after returning to the UK my brother died. I decided to go home permanently.
I returned to South africa in 2004. Needless to say, I never repaid the credit card
My question now is :
1.Is it possible that Natwest has written of the debt?
2. If not, might there be a possible warrant of arrest for this debt?
We are planning on touring Europe and have to stop over on Heathrow. This whole issue will influence our holiday.
Please give me some advice!

No. It's not a criminal matter.
As the det is over 6 years old it will be statute barred now anyway.
