For on Tarmac or off road use?

    New or used?

IF you want new https://www.evanscycles.co.uk have a lot to browse though, but as always froogle.co.uk etc for the best price.

Ebay for second hand. Find the Bike catagory, then in the left hand column restrict your search to say 25 miles from home (assuming you have a car).

If you have no clue at all about buying a bike, you'll need to know they FIT PROPERLY. This is very important. Best to visit the Local Indpendant Bike shop for this kind of advice. If you then buy from them is of course up to you (and their price!)

  • And there's of course Buy Buy Bicycles.

10% cashback with Quidco and you can use Paypal for payments.

edit: just looked into it this though and the range at the moment very poor.. got excited for ya when I saw the kids bikes but they're COMING SOON! There's 4% cashback on Quidco from Halfords FYI

Tescos currently have some adult ones in for £35 - look perfectly reasonable! Don't know about kids ones though. Saw them in store in an Extra.

My local tesco had girls Bratz bikes, 16" I think, reduced to £17.50 the other day, they also had smaller 12" ones for £12.50

If you lived in Kent I have a child's one in my shed you could have for free. Would be glad to get rid!! Too many bikes and not enough children to ride them!!
Failing that try posting a request on local freecycle group and see if anyone has one. A friend of mine put hers outside on her lawn for a week with a nocice saying "Free please take". A Week later she gave up and took it to the dump. There was nothing wrong with it.

I'm surprised. I have a friend who had a bike shop and if he had an old bike he didn't want he left it outside the shop when he locked up and it was gone the next day.
