Monday 30th July - What Small DFW Things Have You Done Today??!!
kjp
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:
Morning!
Hope you all had lovely weekends, the sun is even shining again here today!
Today I will:
Check banks
Check CCs
Check TCB
Check Ebay
Food from stores
LSD - need to buy fruit for work but that's it
Car share to work
2lt water
SB clicks
Do at least half of the first part of my OU assignment
Start ball rolling on CC claim
Catch up with the thread from the weekend!
Think that's my lot for the day, have a great day all!

Morning all, and thanks kjp for starting us off.
After another spend-tastic weekend combining entertaining my children while OH was on holiday and buying final bits of wedding stuff I really need to rein in the spending. I get paid tomorrow and that's the last one before the wedding so it's important it's not wasted.
Here's my little list
visit friend as planned
there is just over £20 in my purse - leave my card behind and if that goes then that's it.
washing done and staying in machine as it's due to rain all day
go to the gym - it's paid for so I should be using it
