I am currently looking for my first home to buy.
I have a mortgage approval in place, however after I paid for a Home Buyers Survey, the result came back as it being Laing Easyform, and the Surveyor would not complete the valuation and my mortgage lender will not lend on this type of property.
Does anyone know of any lenders that will lend on this type of property and a conveyance service that will complete the survey, also what rates they charge.
Many thanks.

As this will be your first home I would guess it is unlikely to be your last.
Consider this purchase very carefully. If you are struggling to raise finance to buy it then anybody who you try to sell to will have similar issues, unless buying for cash.
Is there not a traditional construction property you would be better buying?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Actually I am just trying to find out whether this is a problem with lenders when it comes to non-standard properties. I have seen a few concrete and steel constructed properties which seem okay and I am just trying to make a comparison. In any case, so far the traditional properties have been in pretty poor condition so far.0
