Can you sfaely refreeze frozen breadcrumbs

Hi

I have a squashed loaf of bread I cant do anything with except make breadcrumbs. I usually make tuna croquettes for my LO with breadcrumbs and then freeze the croquettes but dont have time to make them them now.
So if I make a batch of breadcrumbs and then freeze them ,Can I make the croquettes and freeze them with the already frozen breadcrumbs?

are you defrosting the breadcrumbs to make the croquettes or making the croquettes with frozen breadcrumbs. I don't think it would make a difference either way, I think breadcrumbs can be refrozen, it's not like the texture can change much.

I've been refreezing bread since the 1970's after I read that it was safe in Home and Freezer Digest - wish that mag was still around; refreezing breadcrumbs should be fine.

Yes no problem. I freeze bread, then crumb it and re freeze it for Christmas puddings, stuffing etc.
