If you have a little butter try Eves pudding. Pile the cooking apples in a dish with sugar & top with sponge mixture & bake.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0

If there is no margerine, perhaps some pancakes (flour, eggs and milk) with some cooked fruit on them, served with a sprinkling of sugar to taste and the creme fraiche on the side...December GC: £3500

I would pile all the cooked apples into a tin, make a batter and cook them like toad in the hole, once cooked I would drizzle with the golden syrup.
Or I would core the apples pop in a spoonful of jam and bake, I would serve with a custard sauce made with the eggs and milk.0 -
Or make a whisked fatless sponge and make eves pudding.0
