I don't know if anyone else has picked up on this but if you sign up to Topcashback and click through to Southern Railway, you can get 6% cash back on national train tickets. This works on top of other offers such as groupsave.
This is not limited to their region, for example you can buy a ticket from Liverpool to Glasgow on their site. You can buy hours before you travel and pick the tickets up from your station.
