I need a £3000 personal loan
My salary is a bit more than £1k monthly paid to my bank hsbc
I graduated in Nov 2010
Got refused by hsbc as I ve just been employed 3 months ago
They said they need to see regular money coming in...
Missed a £400 payment to wonga in April 2012 as I was not employed and my credit score isn't great

I need £3000 loan urgently, could anyone kindly advice regarding how can I get one?

How much spare income do you have? £1,000 a month is barely enough to cover living costs.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Yes It is, I don't have many bills to pay and I am able to keep my spare income up to £350 monthly..

I think u need to learn how to manage money before taking a 3k loan. If you missed a payment to Wonga I can't see any reasonable mainstream lenders touching you.

You've got no chance with a 3k loan especially only missing a payment 3 months ago.

Save up its your only option.

Not according to the bank. With a recent late payment on your credit record it's unlikely you will be able to borrow at reasonable rates.

If you can save £350 a month you will have £3,000 in less than a year.

What do you need £3,000 so urgently for? You could try credit cards.

What is it you need they £3k for, as we may be able to help find alternatives to borrowing money?

It is unlikely you are going to be able to get a loan from a mainstream lender with only a couple of months of work (employers could easily dismiss you for no reason in this time). Also you have had payday loans which doesn't help and also missing a payment.

If you have £350 spare after all bills are you not able to save for 8/9 months?
  • Thanks for the feedback.
I need the £3k to immediately buy a car to get to work and pay back family/friends who have been waiting for long time and can not keep them waiting until I save up..

What would happen if you did not pay them back at £350 a month for the next 10 months?

Would they take you to court to enforce the debt?

Do you have any assets you can sell?

Edit: You have edited to add a car....How do you get to/from work at the moment?

Definitely do as Happy states, why waste an extra £1k -£2k-£3k on interest. Your friends/family must know you have only just gained employment and are unlikely to get a loan straight away.

Pay back your friends/family in the first couple of months and then save for a car in the next few months.
You have been able to get to work for the last 3 months so use this method until you have more job security.
  • No they won't take me to court, I just want to give them their money back and keep the relationship good and for the long term..I'd like to pay them in full NOW and prefer dealing with a bank as I am able to pay £300 monthly.

I really need this loan now, I take 2 buses plus a train now to get to work.
