it costs £4.99 to post it to you - not sure the best part of £10 is a bargain tbh

or that they were ever £31.99

Who in their right mind would ever pay over 30 quid for three bits of tin!

Oh and Reader's Digest are best avoided, IMO. Their service is either non existent or complete rubbish.

Just a warning - Readers digest send you loads of Snail mail with your name and address all over it (Mrs Smith - you WILL be our next million pound winner - if your ticket gets pulled out).
If you are the sort of person that shreds your id, then you will need to spend some time seperating the fake winners cheque/raffle tickets with your name & adress on. So if you don't like junk mail then they are a nightmare.

If you don't care about junk there is no need to inform me :-) this message was for the benefit of people that don't like it - whether their concerns are id theft, disability or ecologically based.

Signing up to MPS does not stop companies you buy thing from (and often give your permission to) from sending you things.

Their customer service is also not that great.
Last time I bought steak knives they send two sets and an additional invoice.
They did come to collect the second set but it's a little inconvenient as you may have to re-package and wait in etc.

For anyone who has bought from RD and keeps getting junk mail - is there any way of stopping it?

Not sure it's even worth it with the shipping and cashback, TBH...

Its worth it with free shipping, but doubt they were worth £31.99 originally.

I subscribed to readers digest for a while, and received loads of junk mail, even after stopping my subscription. They love making out you've won big money prizes.
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

I have contacted RD 3 times to stop the junk mail. Not had any for about 6 weeks now so hopefully that's the end of it.
