HELP urgently neede with wages AGAIN

I am not impressed I got a telling off for daring to question why I have been paid so little :mad:

I think I will just have to wait until next month by the looks of it, the manager is now on holiday!. Not.Impressed.

I'm really sorry but f£() your manager. I know that's not the best advice as you're new there and rocking the boat is not a great thing. But they've failed to pay you correctly for 2 months in a row and your manager has done eff all about it. Do you have hr there? Perhaps you could talk to them on this matter and they may talk to payroll on your behalf. There's no way you aren't allowed to talk to hr.

This isn't sounding like a great place to work, at least in respect to your manager. Keep an eye on that if I were you. Hope this gets sorted for you.

He sounds a little like my ex boss. Far too controlling and terrified of anything going out of that. HR are meant to be there for you too, though I guess they'll tell you to contact payroll direct.

Not staying there much longer may not be a good thing for sorting this out. I wonder <insert conspiracy here!> if he's doing something dodgy with your hours and is hoping not to get found out. Although there's a potential entire breech of contract issue there.

I think you have to continue to query this with payroll. They were sorting the issue so it's just a follow up. If you really werent meant to talk to them they wouldnt have done that. If the boss moans I'd be inclined to say "I appreciate what you said however I need to live, I couldn't afford to wait for you to come back".

No no no, Put your request in writing to the Payroll office, say that you want your two payslips posting out to you. Do not let this manager intimidate you, go over their head.

well i now have payslips but no resolution!!!!

Latest Payslip shows hours as 61.4 @ 6.08/hr gross £373 (hours wrong) Deductions Tax £74.60 NI 0 Net £298.71 tAX CODE br m1

Yes I know! HMRC have already reissued 810L code again, whether or not my *lovely* employer chooses to use it next time is quite another matter :mad:

If your boss isn't now there then phone their boss (i've had to do it a few times at work). Or e-mail the situation, stiplulating all the shifts you have worked these last 2 months and then underneath what you have been paid each month including the total of hours worked and include the missed hours from last month. At least if it is in writing you'll have more chance. Try and find out who the office manager is too and cc them in, cc your immediate boss in, cc their boss in and stipulate that you need it looking into soon as you can't afford to live on that wage. Someone will listen eventually, you just have to perservere
