in Cutting tax
I'm having a "cull" of my old financial records: do I need to keep my old tax stuff - notices of coding, P45's. P60's, etc. for 2000 and older?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Probably not - the Revenue (and you) can only go back 6 years on a claim, and you should have had statements about pensions/NI in the last few years (P60 useful for settling any "missing years" mistakes).0

If you do not have any other evidence P60s might be the only resort if there was a problem over NI and your pension rights. NI records are not perfect by any means. P45s and coding notices are no problem. If you have a chequered employment history then I would keep them or else request a pension forecast and then bin them.0
