    What about the accrued holidays?

Depending on the holiday year and how many have been taken before she went sick she could have 11weeks to take more if the company give more than 28days.

If the holiday year is Jan-Dec and she is doing the full year maternity there will only be 14 weeks to take them.

She's entitled to go back to the job as she left it. So if she was full time before that's all she's entitled to by right. Anything different is really up to them. If they don't want her to work part-time then she either has to go back full-time or leave. Nothing she can do to hurry them up, she really just has to go along with it.
