QI Charges quick house sale

Due to unemployment we could not keep up payments on our mortgage and secured loan ad we were threatened with repossession although we had a suspended court order we were still unable to keep up with it and were given a possession date. We decided to find a cash buyer and saw QI advertised , they made us an offer in the week and sent us an agreement which we had to sign which clearly states they take no fees. On the day before the completion they sent us a bill which was over £10,000 for their fees, they said completion could not go ahead unless we signed it and that would mean we would lose our home. Obviously we had to sign to say we would pay them , however we now feel very aggreived and that we were bullied into this at a very stressful time.
Does anyone have any idea where we stand
