It's paid as cashback directly from www.quidco.com. You need to earn over £5 as this is deducted from your earnings as an annual fee. If you never reached this amount then you wouldn't have to pay anything.
It is very easy to earn money from Quidco - just use them whenever you are buying things online. eBay, for example, offer a small percentage back for every auction that you win. You can also get large sums (over £100) of cashback for taking out car insurance/home insurance etc.
