loans for over 60,s

Hi all my parents are both retired ok government pensions and state pensions and my mum gets disability allowance too, they need a loan for 5k to pay for medical treatment, they would really rather have a loan than suffer any longer - not ideal I know but hey....
Is there any retired lenders that anyone can recommend? Cheers

    Their bank?
    Banks will lend to pensioners as long as they can afford the repayments.

    Didn't really think of the bank! In my head I thought it would be specialised loaners!

    They are more likely to be ripped off with a high interest loan with a non prime lender.

    The only thing I would say is that if they are turned down it is because the bank really thinks that they cannot afford the repayments. If this is the case they really should take note of that.
    I hope it goes well for them.
