As above. As long as you don't lie when you sell it then there's no problem. You've already had a MOT with the lower mileage on so forking out money to have it adjusted is pointless. Just point it out.
I used to own classic cars and one I had for 5 years had three or four different speedo heads in it and there was never an issue at MOT time. In fact the clocks failing were such a problem that most buyers never took any notice of the mileage as pretty much every Capri had had a replacement set at one time or another.
As to the rear brake light, if it is one of the bulbs in the high level light they can be changed. The dealership will try to charge you for a complete unit but they are normal wedge bulbs. They're a pig to do though as you have to basically take out all the tailgate trim to get at them and once you've popped out the light unit you have to take it to bits to get the bulb out.0 -

Firstly, the stop light could have been working at the time of the MOT.
Secondly, a car only has to have two working stop lights to pass.
Thirdly, i'm REALLY surprised that the mileage isnt stored on the cras ECU...? :-/0
