Can you make fruit leather with just blackcurrants? or is it better to not use them or add something to them?
Thanks
Thanks

I must admit I'd never heard of it either  I just found this on Google, looks like it's fruit that's pureed, dried and made into strips?

LE they wouldn't be sweet enough for me, I'd add some sweet apples too. Raspberry ones are delicious if you have any left or yet to come.0

I made a summer fruit leather last year (basically using up the last of all of my soft fruits and a couple of apples) I used honey instead of sugarBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

got a load of gooseberries that were picked from Sunday and some raspberries that are forever fruiting (and moulding!). Does anyone have a leather recipe for this, pls? Last year were apple and cinnamon, but now that i have soft fruit available from the lotti, am wondering if the method is still the same. I've looked on the net and found that honey was an additional ingred. but the apple one I did wasn't needed. What do you dehydrator-lovers do with soft fruit leathers?0

I find that the best use for blackcurrants is to make jam or how about blackcurrant vodkaBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
