Worst driving I've ever seen....

I'd say there is a decent case for a toot on the horn to alert the motorist to your presence. People may see this as an aggressive act but it's arguably the intended use: "I am here".
It's not because they're driving too slowly for your taste, it's because they clearly have disconnected from what is going around them on the road and are hence posing a danger, as they are tempting other road users into 'non-standard' behaviour (i.e. careful but undesired nonetheless undertaking)
As it stands, the motorist in question is probably completely oblivious that they have done anything wrong.0 -
Extreme example of poor lane discipline which as covered ion another thread the other day, contributes to frustration which can then lead to potential dangerous driving by others (tailgating, dangerous undertaking of multiple cars etc)
People who are quite so unaware of others should not be allowed on our roads as they are a genuine menace0 -
I was about to say what lammy82 just said - if she had several people flashing behind her then undertaking, I'd have given the horn a blast whilst beside her, to see if anyone in the car actually wakes up. At LEAST to have the satisfaction that she has been alerted to SOMETHING going on around her!0

I did consider beeping but I always feel uncomfortable doing it. My husband is a serial beeper - toots anyone who carves in front of him when changing lanes, etc. I just think it's rude. I only ever beep as a warning, if someone is about to hit me.0
