CCJ and N245 form advice?

Hello,

I have been reading this forum for awhile finally registered as i have a problem i would like a bit of advice on, it is my last major debt I need to arrange before it feels i can start living life again and not let stress consume me

Last year my ltd company failed, with debts, bank credit cards and personal debts etc... I have managed to clear them all now or arrange instalments but 1 last debt was owed to a supplier for £7k in regards to services. in my own regret i took no action on this and things have escalated, now there is a CCJ in place (issued 2 weeks ago) for this debt, now the CCJ is in my personal name at my old business address not the company name but i phoned an advice line and they said most likely this cannot be challenged even though i never had the claim form to dispute as i dont get my mail passed on very often and only received the ccj in my hand 2 days ago

now i have had a call from a debt collection agency with regards to this, i have offered them £200/month to clear this debt until i have more income coming in.

now my personal finances stand at....

No property, living with parents rent free
No car, my only income right now is £500/month coming in from a payment plan for a balance of £20k i am owed from a client, now i need £100/month for living, £200/month are already going towards other debts on payment plans so i can at a squeeze push £200/month for this debt

But the debt collection agency has rejected this offer and demanding full payment in 7 days which i dont have in any form!

Now they are saying they are going to send a "field agent" to issue a statutory notice.

Please advise what action i can take? I have been told to send off an N245 form outlaying my means and the court can decide on a payment plan but in the meantime what does the statutory notice do that the debt agency are going to issue?

I am just worried sick.... Ive been through too much debt, depression, stress and shamefully attempted suicide which i am glad failed besides a broken arm n leg as all my other debts have been arranged jus this last 1 i need advice on to overcome, thank you.

If ltd, the 500 a month isn't yours as it is no longer trading
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

The advice you were given sounds wrong. If the debt was to a limited company, how can you be personally liable? Surely that was your defence, which you have not had a chance to give and you should be looking at setting aside the ccj on a N244

Why don't you run this past Business Debtline?

The notice is probably a statutory demand and, if it is, that also needs to be set aside unless you are considering bankruptcy (in which case it could save you £700 in fees!) - again BDL can advise.
