Cheap Cocktails

Morning all,
Hoping you can help. Hosting a party this weekend, people are being asked to bring their own alcohol as well, but that some cocktails will be provided. There will be approx 25 guests.
We think the mimimum we need to make is x 4 jugs (2 litre). Ideally 4 different cocktails as well. Sound right?
We have 750 ml vodka, 300 ml peach schnappes, and 300 ml gin.
From this I think I can buy cranberry juice and make 2 litres of Woo Woo. Thinking chopped fruit and garnishes will give the illusion of it being better than it is.
Want to spend as little as possible, but for it not to look too cheap either.
Any ideas for the other three + jugs?
Also have about another 300 ml vodka in different bottles (foreign). Ok to mix these or will we make people ill? Have had them a while, assume they don't go off?

if it's all in a cocktail, I wouldn't worry about making people ill. It will all taste the same once it is mixed together.
Vodka goes really well with apple juice - so you could make an apple vodka spritzer. Get some soda water as well. The peach snappes will go with that as well.0 -
Thanks Jonny, will give that a goDebt free (finally) and saving a deposit for my first home.0

Sex on the beach is vodka, orange juice and peach snapps, can also put in a spalsh of cranberry.
Try home bargins for cheap fruit juice.
What abt Sangria, cheap bottle of red wine (£3 ish from lidl), fruit, orange juice and lemonade.
You could do a jug of gin and tonic, but with cucumber slices instead of lemon. Or Gin with a berry sort of juice, like a Bramble cocktail.
vodka mojito, vodka, soda water with a bit of sugar/lemonade, with fresh mint leaves added and lime juice.
Moscow mule, vodka, ginger ale and lime.
Guess you could use lime cordial to replace fresh lime juice? Tesco does value bags of lemons and limes.0 -
ooh thanks Phoolgrrrl
I will definately steal a couple of these .... think I might even test out a fake bramble tonight ... wonder what Ribena would be like with Gin and tonic .... and a lime. Can't stretch to Cassis which is a real shame as I love Brambles.
And Mosco Mule, only really need ginger ale for that. Have seen some lime / lemon juice in bottles for cheap in tesco 250 ml for 55p.Debt free (finally) and saving a deposit for my first home.0 -
Vermouth isn't expensive, Lidl do one for something like £3.99. Mix it with the gin, pop a green olive in the bottom of people's glasses, and you have a martini (my favourite!).0

Use ginger beer for your moscow mules as it is cheaper and more delicious.
Buy some fizzy plonk to mix with schnapps for sparkling bellini (serve in champagne glasses)
Frozen Daiquiris are made with fruit and any alcohol blended with ice, you can use over-ripe fruit out of your fruit basket or going whoops in the supermarket, (bananas, strawberries, kiwis etc) or you can just buy a litre of smoothy mixture and mix this in.
Pina colada can be made from coconut ice cream, pineapple juice and rum, just mix it all together in a blender.
If you buy Gummy bears and soak them in vodka they will increase to twice the size and are a lot more fun than vodka jelly shots.0 -
PS it is all in the garnishing and ice, crush ice for cocktails, do fruit slices, straws and cheap paper umbrellas.0
