Enchilidas

Options
I very cleverly decided to make these myself as it is cheaper than the Old El Paso packets you can but as I had half a spice packet left over from the last Old Paso I bought.

I have the puree, tortillas, chicken, cheese etc. but as I have thrown the original box away, I don't know the quantities of anything. Or how hot to have the oven, or how long to put them in for. Can anyone help?

I think I remember the method. Cook chicken in fry pan. Add 1/2 of sauce that you've made with puree and water. Add 1/2 cheese to this and stir.
Divide mixture into the tortillas and roll up. Cook for ... minutes.

Never bought an El Paso kit - only from scratch. I bake my enchiladas as if cooking lasagne. ABout Gas mark 5 for 15-30 mins depending on how oven behaves that day. I tend to work to one teaspoon each Origano, cumon and Chilli per pound of meat and then adjust as I go along - Warning! you may need less chilli than me!
