TKMaxx - yellow labels

hi...was in TXmaxx today and noticed that all the clearance has now been yellow labeled...normally this means great prices but not so much today.

Does any one know when they will go to silly pricing on the yellow labels?

The yellow labels change every day for one to two weeks depending on the store. Towards the end of the period they do it more than once a day.

Well I did go in on Tuesday and yup all the clearance stock had yellow labels but the reductions was very poor e.g maybe 20/30% so I have no idea what's going on!

final clearance i believe is going to last a month and go through reductionsmore and more up to the point of every hour on the final day last bits leftwill be given to charity, i cannot give exact days of markdowns as it's my sonwho told me and is only working early morning's and forgets to check if youfind items with some damage in final clearance it may be possible to get up toan extra 10% off (and get it before its gone)

I believe from the last year experience: Firstly they put first yellow label and hold it for a few weeks or so and then they put another yellow label and hold it for a week and finally start doing daily reductions. I was in a big tk maxx store on 18 July and they said they put first yellow label in 16 July. I asked them and they said it's not the final clearance yet but they did not know when it's going to be.

Deb63, Could you do us a favour and ask your son if he works there, when they will start further daily reductions? I believe they have just done first yellow label reduction round so far and the socond yellow label will mean the actual start of the final clearance. It will help us, tk maxx bargain hunters!

today was the 2nd markdown in my sons store and said the signage was deliverd he isnt sure on much more information and said it should finish within the next 2-3 weeks best to go in now as alot of things have now been marked down to the £5-£7 area while still in good condition without holes etc.

Deb63, thank you for the info. Could you ask him when will they be starting doing daily reductions? I assume after they done the 2nd mark down they will hold it for a week or so until the actual date of starting daily reductions? Could he let you know that so you can inform us here? Thank you a lot!
