  • Hi there - great to see lots of tea lovers on the forum :T Just wanted to let you know that I have started selling forlife products online this year. In my view they are the best on the market and, like you had problems sourcing in the UK so decided to sell them myself! My company is called tizutea and all products can be bought via the online shop.

Have to say the glass forlife mugs and teapots with infusers have been a great hit so far so you might want to check these out if you like seeing your tea brew ;)

Hope you don't mind me posting - Nicola aka the tizutea lady

  • Well I've still not had half my order from all about tea. The Winter tea still not arrived.

I called them the day before yesterday and they say it's not in stock and don't know when they will be getting it in.

They still have it available to order on their website though.....

    Not good.
I must say that overall I found the Chinese sellers better than the UK ones. Even Wilkinsons got me a bit fed up, they don't write the full list of ingredients (I was looking for a flavoured tea with only natural ingredients and no added flavouring). Also they don't answer messages.
And Distance Selling Regs...... What's that?
We are talking about basic legal requirements here... I think it shows that these two sites are mainly wholesalers and not really geared towards retail customers.

On the other hand the Chinese sellers have all been incredibly reliable, have answered messages quickly. They put brits businesses to shame....
(on this subject I found another good website, I bought some teaware from them: www.jkteashop.com)

Regarding winter tea, Wilkinsons have one on their websites, their teas are very good, and they have been very reliable with orders, some faster than others, although if you have a problem I'm not confident you'd get good customer service, unfortunately...
  • No i'll stick to adagio and suki. It's funny with the christmas teas.....

I didn't like either adagio or suki tea christmas ones on the first cup, but the more you drink it the more you like it.

Adagio teas tend to have lots of flavourings in them. The suki teas have hardly any :)

Think i'm going to order lots of suki teas as christmas presents.

typically american, I have to say, they have all sorts of silly flavours, it beats me why one would want to buy expensive loose tea with chemicals in them....

For a risk-free purchase of high quality flavoured tea (as a general comment for the benefit of others, as you have already decided where to buy :) ) canton tea do an award-willing jasmine pearl tea,
that can be bought directly from their source here, at a reasonable price:

(there is a chance that one would be drinking Harrods tea, as they have the same tea and canton tea apparently supply them).
  • 'Ive had problems with All About Tea too, im out of pocket, very unhappy now they just ignore my emails. Not a lot of money but they were very sneaky about it, paid by card I wish I'd paid by paypal, only used them once wont go back... I'm glad I found this thread I love their english breckfast, the leaves are larger than the ones I tried from supermarkets, delish, but i can now look for alternatives, the other stores I found were a bit too pricey for me, i'm on a budget lol

oh dear, naughty All About Tea, I'm glad I didn't go back in the end...
but I've been trying lots of different teas, and I'm kind of settled using the Chinese websites I mentioned for lovely Chinese teas, I've had some fantastic teas I must say, never knew that just one plant can give so many different types of drinks, all called tea....

I still like my traditional blends, and buy from Wilkinsons. I will also explore some of the shops recommended in this thread :)
