i would say its a matter of course for any major company these days.
i used to work in a call centre for insurance (car) and we could trace any call at any time. And that was over 6 yrs ago, imagine it would be even easier now. When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0 -
yes they can trace any call as all/most are recorded they will be doing this to see if ppi was mis sold, they will canx ppi but not refund any pymts made unless ppi was mis sold so by the sounds of it there just covering their own backs they may even send you a copy of the call but beware some companies charge for this.

Do all companies do this as a matter of course?
I enquired about this with Black Horse Finance and they seemed to indicate that calls were not recorded. Anyone know if this is true?0 -

You can always request to cancel any unused remaining portion of a PPI insurance
