Hello,
Looking at mortgages at the moment and I'm trying to find the banks that take into account 100% of my commission from my salary as some only cover my basic and 50% of my commission. I earn about 60% of my salary from commission so some banks are tricky!
Anyone help with this?
Thanks!

Yes a couple of lenders take 100% commission. How long have you been with your employer?0

2 years and 4 months! Regular commission every month!0

Sounds doable subject to full details.0

Just because you can borrow it doesn't mean you have to.0

I agree with conrad, so long as you can show your commission is pretty stable and has been for that length of time you should be alright.

Does anybody know which banks do? I saw a broker regarding a mortgage and he advised the woolwich and gave me an illustration for the mortgage. I then went to see the bank individually and they said I couldn't borrow that amount, then I advised the woman at the woolwich I had an illustration and she said she would come back to me. Sure enough she came back and the underwriters said it would be ok. Now it's got me wondering if lots of banks do this depending on circumstances?!?!? I have 20% deposit, no debts, good savings, good work history and regular commission. I was just wondering if anybody knew any other banks who favour people like me? Santander and natwest do but the charges arnt as good as others on the market! Woolwich decided they would after looking at my history...I'm just trying the get the best mortgage deal I can and the more banks I can check the better rate I will be able to get..0

Save your time and your brokers (given the fact you then went to the bank direct after their advice, you will not get a bank that will accept 100% commission and beat that Woolwich product at 80%..
Good luckI am a Mortgage Broker
