PROBABLY !

I'm hoping it's going to be the film of the year but I have my doubts.

Having read everything Douglas Adams published, especially the HHGTTG series (probably around 50 times) , listened to the BBC Radio series many times, watched the TV adaptation about a dozen times, seen 2 stage versions live, listened to the new BBC HHGTTG "Tertiary Phase" series last September and looking forward to the yet to be broadcast "Quandary and Quintessential Phases" (starts in May), I think I'm going to be disappointed to some degree by the film.

Unfortunately it seems to have had an undue American influence in its direction and production that has tainted the Britishness/Englishness of Douglas Adams original ideas that made the HHGTTG concept what it is.
Also having seen some trailers for the film, it appears to have events and characters that are not as described in the book.

I hope I'm proved wrong !!!!!

Yes it's a bit far for me to get to the nearest (leicester) for just a free viewing.

I take it you are also a DCFC fan but a little way from "home" derby4life?
