It because of the price I want one but I aint paying £500 for a game console if it goes to about £300 - £350 than I will go from 20% to getting one to 80%Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Loads of stock of PS3's where i am.I personally think the price is too high for what is basically a games console and they included the blue-ray dvd player which pushed the price up and could end up being a dud format.0

it's cheaper to buy a PS3 and use it to play Blue ray DVD's than a Blue ray DVD player !!

Don't think blue-ray wil take over from HD as most people have heard of HD but not blue-ray. Sony've left it too late imo.Illegitimi non carborundum.0

I agree If i owned sony i would look the launch day and say this aint good i would then lower the price to about £300 and think yeah we having a big loss but then people will probley buy a game to so that £350 and they will sell alot more meaning more sales more profit i know about 30 people who want one but just aint gonna pay that price as they have family also blue ray there not alot disk on blue ray yet so why are people gonna want a blue ray dvd when they can stick with there own dvd they got what has millions of dvd I think sony have really got it all wrong.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. i find its the other way around.
most people have heard of blu-ray due to all the reports and hype/delays etc surrounding the ps3, and have only realised there is another format (being hd-dvd) when delving further and realising there is a little mini war 'tween the two differant formats0
