Hi All,
Me and my partner are saving to get a deposit together for our first house. Looking at my credit report I have a few Defaults :-(
I know that these will fall off my credit file 6 years from the default date, but how will this show when it comes to applying for a mortgage.
Eg, the last one will drop off in Feb 2014.
So does this mean that say I apply for a mortgage in April 2014 my report will be ok as I haven't missed any payments since 2010.
I am really worried over this as I dont want my stupid past to affect my chance of getting a mortgage with my partner who has a great credit report.
Anybody clued up on this type of thing?
