Could someone guide me as to whether i can claim anything while still being classied as self-employed.
I went self-employed march 2011 but have always done agency work when quiet on and off.
I havent done anything se this tax year and had been working full-time for an agency but that stopped about 6 weeks ago since then just been getting odd day .
my partner works full-time and we have no children so would i be able to get anything

You might be able to claim contributions based JSA. That doesn't take account of your partner's earnings nor savings. It lasts for up to six months.
It is though, as it says, based on your contributions. That is having paid minimum threshold NI contributions for a couple of years prior to the year of claim.
You can probably get more information from the DWP website.0
