    As you have roughly equivalent individual (pension) assets and are willing to negotiate over shared assets try to avoid the PSO route - it leads to charges and complex personal (never mind administrator) admin.

    If you can both find solicitors willing to adopt a negotiating rather than adversarial stance over total asset splitting sharing orders may not be necessary anyway.

    You do both need to get current values/transfer values to aid this process though if you haven't already. Say it is for divorce purposes as this (by law) will get a quicker response.

    All monies of the marriage go into the financial consent order. You have mentioned £130k of a financial pot, but no mention of current salaries which will affect the financial split. Also no matter what you agree with your wife, the judge will arbitrate on whether it is considered a fair split of the finances, to ensure that one side is not getting their eye wiped.
