Interest on Halifax credit cards

Has anyone successfully managed to get halifax to reduce interest on credit cards when on a dmp???
My hubby and I have been on a dmp with cccs for a year now, have been looking at all our statements as we are due our review and most of our debts are coming down slowly but surely. However we both have halifax credit cards which have barely moved. On mine the original balance was £4250 and after paying them over £600 over the course of the year it is now £4199. Dh's is much the same original balance less but has only gone down by around £40 over the course of the year.
Has anyone had success writing to them to ask them to reduce it?
Help please!!
