Find my dress - Berketex Gaynor

Hello, I've seen in Berketex a dress I like but can't find it anywhere other than Berketex, where it's £600. It seems expensive as it's not really a bridal dress with loads of corsetry and work, it's similar to a prom dress I have from Monsoon that was £150 (but obviously I paid £75 in the sale, lol!)
It's a knee length dress, called Gaynor by Emily Fox for Berketex. It was either white or off white/cream etc. The only picture I can find is of it in red as a bridesmaids dress?! It's covered in beads that run in lines down from the bust to the skirt.

I'd want a size 12, however a 10 or 14 might do as I'm thinking of replacing:p the zip with a corset back so it fits better?
I gave had a quick look online, and can only find one mention of someone wanting to sell one a few years ago!
However thought I'd ask here as some of you seem very good at this!

Hi Faithless,
I can't find anything either! Other ways of getting one would be to take a picture to a dressmaker and ask them to make one similar to it - which I am pretty sure would be mahoosively cheaper than £600 - and you could then customise it with the corset back.
Or one of the Chinese websites - which could probably do it for £100 or less, but might not be very good quality.
I'll keep looking while I am bored at work though.
Jo xIf you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
Sorry I don't have Gaynor, but I got my dress from there and I know they have something like 20% or 25% off at the minute so that could bring down the price quite a lot for you?0

does it have to be that dress or could it be similar?

Wow, thanks guys!
Basically I need a structured top half, with plenty of boning, if not a corset, to hold my DDs in place, and give me the hourglass silhouette, so the floaty ones probably won't work. I really love the knee length of the Gaynor, and like the strapless body and neckline. However I tried some more traditional long dresses with corset backs on, and they gave me such an amazing figure I'd like to have a corset in my knee length dress. However I've not actually seen any short corsetted ones so far, so figured my best bet might be to find the Gaynor as cheap as possible and get it altered to a corset back.
Thanks for looking jo, I love the idea of you looking like you're tapping industriously away at your computer at work, but actually looking for my dress, lol!
LittleMiss, thanks, it's good to know they do reduction events, I don't need to order it right now so if I can't find the perfect one I can order it next time there's a discount and get it altered.
I didn't actually think of looking in Monsoon, doh, but I love the last but one jenhug posted.http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=261070938600
It's a size 8 which I don't think would work for me, but I'm sure that's not the only one out there! It's such a good price though I think I'll watch it and maybe get it if it stays cheap just to see if it's possible to put a corset in it...0 -

Hands up how many of us are doing this, I even have a file under my desk marked Wedding that I print things off and file :rotfl:Saving for wedding 25 August 2013£1,090/£6,000Wedding Diet7lbs lost , 33lbs to go0 -
British-based wedding dressmakers would create this for you at around £500 - so my advice would be to get in touch with various local dressmakers. Whereabouts are you?
The other potion is to find a wedding dress with a corsetted back you absolutely love & have it shortened to knee-length by the shop/supplier or your own tailor.0
