Nix - One warning though... you WILL get addicted to this site. ;-) However, it is a good addiction, and will save you plently of money.... unlike smoking? You still off the ciggies? You could see it as paying for a good size holiday next year - a reward for getting your finances! Or if you feel really sensible, you could put it towards paying off more debt ;-) (although I wouldn't blame you for taking a holiday with the cash - just imagine jet skiing in the bahamas, and not feeling short of breath... hehe)

Hiya Nix, I've seen you on the Old Style Board, and I just had to come on here and say WOOHOOO!!! You are doing so well, and it's such an inspiration, especially the way you are overcoming your lack of confidence and taking control. It really was a pleasure to see you going from pulling your hair out to giving advice to other people in such a short time. Keep it up!

(Virtual beer, as it's cheaper, has no calories, and best of all doesn't make you feel like a ciggie to go with it, hehe! Huge congratulations on giving up the fags, I know how hard that can be.)0 -
Cheers Ms Thrift, I just think lots of things are happening for me right now and things are improving in leaps and bounds.
The basic situation stays the same - still in debt, still got to raise some money, still not sure how I'm going to do that - but my attitude has completely turned around towards lots of things and as my confidence improves in one area it spills over into all the others.
Gaining control of my finances
Gaining control of work and my attitude to it
Really thinking about what I want from life
And then thinking how I go about getting where I want to be
And realising that things will never be as bad as they were because I have changed irrevocably for the better
Enjoying feeling good
And love the boards and the support and advice they give to people, like me, who end up here
It's all good, as they say
