    ''Ignore maytaurus' post above
(now changed to a financial promotion, hope the FSA are watching !).
Minimum fees of over £2500 !'

    I hope everybody...not just the FSA...is watching
I am nothing to do with Regency Mortgage Corporation!!!
Besides the fact that I have a mortgage with them!!!
I did not pay £2,500 fees either
I have found them to be very helpful in every way and have had no problems with them whatsoever!
I have however got a problem with your
    FALSE ACCUSATION!!!
I was simply and genuinely trying to give JCR1987 the opportunity to look at the possibility that they may have been able to help especially in the short term
I agree that they are not be the cheapest....
I agree that other avenues should be tried first....
I did this myself after being messed around and running out of time like JCR1987 and Regency were the only people who were totally honest with me from the start
and my dealings with them have been excellent in every way.
I had a 3yr fixed payment term on my mortgage and then
after that.... free to re-mortgage with anyone else I care to choose
In fact I was badly messed around by one of the ''big mortgage providers''
They said I had my mortgage with them
and 5 months later ... when I telephoned them to see where my paperwork was....so that I could sign and complete
they said 'there had been an error on their part and they were not giving me the mortgage'
Nearly 3 years later I am still trying to get back the fees that I paid to them!!!
    So Good Luck
    JCR1987
I am sorry if my suggestion was of no use
I hope you find a mortgage soon
