Quick tip about Ecover washing up liquid

Options
In the past when i've run out of dishwasher tablets and in the past when i've tried using a squirt of washing up liquid instead, the whole dishwasher foamed up a flooded the floor.
Today I was desperate and used a squirt of Ecover washing up liquid as i'd noticed it's not that bubbly, and it's worked a treat! It didn't foam up or flood at all and everythings shiny.
I had bought it on offer a few months back (2 for 1) and i'm sure that even not on offer it is cheaper than my usual dishwasher tablets.

Dandy-candy.....how much did you put in?

I used to use Ecover before we had a dishwasher but when I tried their dishwasher tablets it didn't clear things very well....but if this works that would be brill.

Out of interest, we use the Ecover dishwasher tablets and find them to be every bit as good as Finish etc. The only thing is that they aren't a million in one combination tablets like many dishwasher tablets are so you do need to use separate rinse aid and salt (especially in a hard water area). Might be telling you what you already know, but thought I'd mention that you do need to use the other items as well just in case.

Sorry so late in replying! I just do a quick squirt (!) but it is probably about a teaspoon.
