Is there an app available that can be used off line that works like a sat nav, at home and abroad.
Have browsed the app store but very confused as am very new to this. (In fact haven't yet got my tablet just been experimenting with my daughters.)
Thank you

you can try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.navfree.android.OSM.ALL&hl=en
your phone needs to have enough free space to be able to store the downloaded maps (download via wi-fi it will cost a lot to download them over 3g)
edit: tablet not phone!0 -
You'll also need a tablet with a built in GPS so it knows where you are. Some have it, some don't.0

I use Nav Free on my Acer Iconia A500, it works very well and also have walking directions on it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
