Asking for a default to be applied?

Morning all,
Back in 2008 I held two current accounts and one loan with Natwest, due to health issues I was no longer able to work and as such Natwest defaulted both the current accounts, however they have not done so for the loan.
Is it possible to argue that a default should have been applied to the loan as well?
I am continuing to make token payments to the loan account, I just don't want it to be having a negative impact on my credit file for an undefined period of time
Many thanks

Token payments for more than a few months should really be recorded as a default.
