Nationwide SO Mortgage Process

This is my first post and hope its in the right place.

I have recently done a mortgage application to Nationwide for a resale shared ownership property at 50% (90% ltv mortgage).

We had a DIP and the very next day sent a full application and we had to pay the booking fee and server at this point. I also had to send mine and applicants 2 payslip and P60 and certified address and photo iD. However they did not ask for anything else, is this normal? Is this all they need? Has the application now been fully done and what will be the next stage? I know the survey is booked for Thursday as the vendor told me.

Sorry for the questions, I just need to this all and house buying and a little confused if we have been accepted or not? Or if it's all done?

Many thanks.

Thanks for that, so it might be all the documents they need? I do hope so as i do not want there to be any delays :-)

I applied via Nationwide about 3 weeks ago and this was all that was needed, they said they might need an employer reference from myself as Ive been in my current employment for under a year.

This was on the tuesday, with a survey being done on the thursday. I still havent received the survey results in the post, but I got the acceptance back within about a week after the survey completed.

Again this is all subject to how busy they are.
  • We went through the pre-application process so they had everything they could want before we went ahead and paid for the application. They did ask for a lot of additional documents from us throughout the pre-application stage. The mortgage offer came two weeks after full application.

Just as a related question, nationwide say they'll keep you up to date at each stage of the application. anyone know when they usually text you? my full application has been in for over a week, should I have heard anything from them by now?
