The energybook site works like ebay but allows you to post up classified ads for 12 months free of charge - in fact most postings including auctions are free of charge and there is an auto relist. Registration is simple too

The site focuses on energy, wind, solar, petrol, etc. and there are books, wind turbines, solar panels, etc for sale. But there is also a classic car area and an 'other' area where you can list anything - I have seen laptops, boats, and all the ususal ebay stuff.

There are lots of items many of which are cheaper than on ebay - cos the sellers don't need to recoup their ebay costs.

It has paypal facilities, multi currency, shop, etc. In fact it looks good to me without the ebay costs.

Also Nochex has started a classified section, which will eventually cost 25p a go to sell, (with no final fees) - but for now you can get free credits - requires registration. Also you are required to offer Nochex as one of your payment methods.
