Losing lbs and gaining £s

I have two things I really want to achieve by Christmas this year. I want to be debt-free, and I want to get down to a healthy weight.
Being good with money and eating well are two things I've always struggled with. My birthday is on 2nd October and I would love to be healthier by then. At the moment my BMI puts me in the 'obese' category and I have about 3 stone to lose to be in the 'healthy' category. I worry that if I don't get control of it I'm going to have health problems.
So, I want to record my progress on both fronts here. I'm already a member of the 'Pay off ALL Debt by Xmas 2012' (#50).
I will weigh in tomorrow morning and then update regularly on a Sunday morning.
