Sorry, this will be the first big large-capacity event I've been to, apologies if this is a dumb question.
Can I get disposable or cheap binoculars anywhere? What should I be looking for (we've got seats in block 249 in the olympic stadium ie a long way away from the action). Or should I just not bother with the binoculars and look at the action on the big screens in the venue instead?
eta - birdwatching binoculars seem to fit the bill for price and size etc - would they be suitable for the venue?

Cheap binoculars are usually a waste of time, so I would go with the 'watch the large screen' option0

Saw some cheap ones in HomeBargains if you have a local one near you.

I'd spend a bit of money on binoculars as the cheap ones really are cheap0
