Morning all.

Hubby has had a number of blood tests recently at doctors each one comes back with abnormality and needs a follow up appointment. He goes to appointment and is told his white cells are high and has to make yet another appointment for blood test. I think we are on number 4 blood test just returned and again letter to say abnormality and needs an appointment - appointment made for the 10th August.

What I can't understand is this just seems to be going in circles for the last couple of months, every time he needs an appointment he has to wait 1-2 weeks for it. Worst case scenario is that it is a sign of cancer but surely all this delaying can't be good.

I hope I am just over reacting but after seeing how incompetent the health service can be close up when my mum was in hospital I am worried that by the time they do decide to do something it will be too late.

Another fleeting visit from me hopefully I'll be a bit more back on track next week been reading about the cereal & petrol vouchers but its not sinking in & trying to keep up.

My much hated local Mr T's is selling the kingsmill trays for £1.99 now & value baby bath is up to 46 or 49p from 9p :eek:

I really don't think anyone took my post seriously. One poster said I had more money then sense to throw a APG for £22 ish in the bin.
It seemed to me many agreed with them looking at the amount of thanks they got for that remark.
Why would I want to stand in any store and be made to look like a thief when I have a very trustworthy nature and fgs all for £22.
So for me getting large APG`s is now something that I would never do again.
I have stopped posting on here due to some of the remarks I got.

I have ripped the APG up, into the recycling bin it has gone.

I hope you stay, someone on heres favourite saying is some you win some you lose. I guess on the grand scheme of things the £22 is very little compared to the savings you have saved in your time and can save.

And by being bold you have saved other people from losing their APGs. I think that its FK that says stay under the radar - I guess that means he is right.

Im never bold enough to go for that kind of amount so well done for giving it a bash !!

No its 7 packs of the lager

7 x £3 = £21
7 x £1.50 coupons = £10.50 to pay, then a £10 brand match pops out, so your second go and every go after that, will be 50p to pay :T

This is probally not helpful but when my OH neede blood tests he could have them done at the local surgery where there was a 2 or 3 week wait. Or he could ring the local hospital and get an appointment that week. Results came in overnight.

Our local hospital is a bit of a drive but what we did was I'd drop him off there and go to the nearby garden centre to park up and then collect him again afterwards - very expensive to park at the hospital.
