Evening all
Sorry I don't get to post much - it's always so late by the time I catch up it's bedtime!
Having a nightmare in our local T's - they've changed whoopsie time and I just can't figure it out  It used to be around 7:30 which was perfect - could wait for DH to get home - have a bit of time with him then pop down to get things at more than 50% off (my aim).
I think we have a new Manager - I've noticed they are reducing by around 30 -40% the day before and leaving it on the shelf with the fresh stuff rather than moving to the reduced section so I do wonder if my days of 70% off are over now
Had a little result the other day - found one lonely pack of sausages in the Whoopsie section & with my two (5 yo twins) plus DH loving their cooked breakfast, I grabbed them. 50p for Manchester Sausages - not too bad (not the best deal in the world but with stocks dwindling, thought I best had). It was only when I got home I saw they were a day out of date
Called CS next day & told them & got a £2 gift card through the post today :T:T
HappyChappy have added my two pennieth onto your FB campaign against Clarks. It has really annoyed me their attitude towards you - they are so good at the sales part (measuring young children & keeping them entertained etc) it's galling to see how bad they can be if their product doesn't do the job it's supposed to
Off to bed in a mo - just wanted to "show my face" again &:beer::beer: for the offers & hard work you all put in to this thread to make it what it is.
BTW did anyone manage to get the Walls Twisters ice lollies I mentioned at the weekend in A's? My two have really enjoyed them this week.........what's the betting they will want me to buy them again at full price? The pitfalls of buying glitches, eh??!0 -

For those of you doing the click and collect order, you can check if your store offers this service before you have messed around creating an order by doing this:
1) Go to tesco store locator and choose your store
2) scroll down below the map and it will tell you what facilities it offers, this will include 'click and collect' if it does it!
....i remember this someone asvised this on here for checking of Mr Ts did kosher foods when the jam was on offer;)0 -

I remember a story about a bar stool when someone fell off it, It was deemed in court that the stool collapsed due to the person being too large to sit on it..
It was decided that the customer had every right to sit on it as there was no sign displayed stating that someone had to be under a certain stature to sit on the stool, the company were found at fault..
The same could be said for the shoes, they would have to make customers aware that these are not for the larger person..
They are indeed not fit for purpose..
Try threatening them with small claims court see what they do then the law is on your side..:)
Thanks for that, receptionist (mummy Lala) take note.:rotfl::rotfl:

a few years ago to raise money for my daughters playgroup we did this, only 3 helpers turned up and it was only for 4 hours but we were astonished to get almost £300, it was only a small local co-op as well but people were really generous.:)
:T:T:T Brilliant idea. I bag pack for the Cats Protection League twice a year in Mr Ms. Admittedly it's embarrassing as we live in an area where cats are regarded as outside farm cats & not petsso some folk treat you like you carry the plague
but I'm not pushy, just very nosey
'oh that's a bargain' or 'how much?' :rotfl:
